BertieAnderson — Australian R&B Artist

Bertie Anderson is an Australian R&B singer-songwriter blending smooth 2000s-inspired vocals with modern influences from Afrobeat, hip-hop, and alternative R&B. Hailing from Cairns and now based in Western Australia, his sound is deeply rooted in his Torres Strait Islander heritage, carrying forward a strong musical lineage as the son of reggae artist Andrew Namok.

Bertie continues to expand his artistry both locally and internationally, including his involvement in the Hitmakers Songwriting Retreat in Los Angeles (October 2025), where he collaborated with world-class writers and producers. His music is driven by storytelling—exploring love, tension, identity, and emotional depth through layered metaphors and infectious melodies.

Currently, he is working on an R&B EP titled September 98, alongside a powerful First Nations album project, Songs of Our Fathers, reflecting culture, legacy, and generational storytelling. With a clear vision and a growing catalogue, Bertie is focused on building a global presence as both an artist and songwriter.
